Easy Moru curry or Spiced Butter Milk Curry or കാച്ചിയ മോര്

This is an easy version of moru curry.

To blend you need

  • Laban or Butter milk – 1 lit
  • Turmeric – 1/2 to 1 tsp
  • Cumin seed powder – 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Green chilies – 1 finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Curry leaves of 1 string

For seasoning,

  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Mustard seed- 1 tsp
  • Red chili- 3 nos
  • Curry leaves of 1 string

You have to

  • Blend the mixture.( I use a bottle. Put all the ingredients , close the lid tightly and shake well)
  • Heat oil in a sauce pan.
  • Add the mustard seed once it started spluttering add the red chili and the curry leaves.
  • Add the blended curd mixture after 10 sec.
  • Stir in till the mix is warm.
  • Remove from fire.
  • Serve with rice.
