I have seen several varieties of Dates in the super markets in Middle East. During summer we could find different colors and types of Dates. Some has dry fruits stuffed and some are dipped in chocolates. Some are fresh and some are dried.
Dates has massive health benefits..It help to boosts the energy as soon as we eat it..
Two days back when I reached home hungry, I dint have any choice other than eating few dates. But thankfully I found some peanut butter in the fridge. Peanut butter is my favorite nibble when ever I feel hungry. But I never imagined that this two will make a great combo.
You need,
- Dates
- Store brought Peanut butter (chunky or smooth)
You need to
- Just pit few dates
- Fill it with peanut butter. approx 1/4 teaspoon goes in each date.
- Arrange it on a serving plate..
This is slightly chewy and bit chunky(if you are using the chunky peanut butter) but absolute delish. The sweetness of dates and saltiness of Peanut butter balances well. And the nutty flavor which makes you have them more and more. But please don’t have if you are diet conscious.
If you are allergic to peanuts you could replace it with any other nut butter. I am sure that will taste good as this…
