Veg Kebabs

I love veg tikkis and kebabs. I make tikkis and have it with sandwich. I happened to see my blog friend Aipi’s recipe.. This recipe is inspired by her recipe and will go well with rice :).

You need
Paneer – 1 cup gratted/crumbled
Potatos – 2 medium boiled and mashed
Frozen Green peas – 1/2 cup defrosted and drained
Frozen Corn – 1/4 cup defroshed and drained
Carrot – 1 medium gratted
Coriander leaves – 1 to 2 tbsp
Dry Mango powder/Amchur – 1/2 tsp
Green chilli – 1 to 2 finely chopped
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
raisin – 1 tbsp
cashewnuts – 1 tbsp chopped
Corn flour as required (approx 1/4 cup)
Salt to taste
Refined Oil for frying or brushing


You have to
1. In a large deep bowl mix all the ingredients except oil. (Make sure add corn start as required. If it sticky add in little by ittle so that it can form up to form a ball any shap you desire)
2. You can cook in pan or grill in an oven

To cook in a pan,
1. Heat oil in a non stick pan
2. place the shapen up kebab pieces
3. cook both sides till golden brown

To grill in an oven
1. Preheat the oven to 180 deg cel
2. line a baking sheet and keep the kebab pieces in any shape you desire
3. brush over some oil
4. keep the tray and in oven and grill till it is golden brown. (Keep an eye in the oven. It shud take around 10-15 min)

Serve hot or warm with Jeera rice
