Potato Masala

You need
1. Potato – 1 no peeled and cubed
2. Banana pepper – 6 no
3. Onion – 1 no chopped
4. Tomatos – 4 seeded and chopped
5. Poppy seed – 4 tbsp finely powdered
6. Cloves – 3 no
7. Cinnamon stick – 2 inch piece
8. Cumin seeds – 2 tsp
9. Corriander seeds – 3 tsp
10. Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
11. Ginger-garlic-corriander paste – 1 tbsp
12. Kashmiri Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
13. Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
14. Oil – 1 tbsp
15. curry leaves – 1 strand
16. Salt

You have to,
Powder 1 tsp cumin seeds, corriander seeds, cloves and cinnamon stick and keep aside
1. Heat oil in a pan
2. Add 1/2 portion of cumin seeds, followed by mustard and curry leaves
3. Add onions allow to turn pink
4. Add tomatos, chilles, potatos and saute well
5. Add remaining spices and powdered masalas and mix well.
6. Add 2 cups of water and cook in low flame till it is done.
7. Serve with roti/chappathi/pita bread/rice roti

Note:- you could exclude banana pepper and include potatos or carrots and more red chilli powder
