Now Qatar has a small community of food bloggers (Food Bloggers Qatar), in which I am a part of
Doaa took the initiative of bringing a few of us together, and hosting the first ever Food Blogger’s Meet of this kind in Qatar..
The event was taken place at Four Seasons Doha at II Teatro Restaurant on 21st February, 2015
The restaurant has a lovely ambiance. The food prepared by Chef Sergio Mei was so unforgettable and delish!!!
We started with soft drinks, some fresh soft breads and an Amuse Bouche, which as a crunchy soft crab.
After that we had Seared scallops, passion fruit, asparagus, caviar and oba leaf
Then it was Romagna style lasagna, parmesan sauce.. OMG, This was absolute yum..
Then we were served with Spring chicken, spinach, green beans, roasted potatoes, sage sauce… By the time this was served I was so full.. I could eat just a bite of it.. And eagerly waited for the dessert which is one of my fav
The Classic sweet ending was a heaven..My all time favorite, Tiramisu
And some pralines
After this there was few games…and then we parted to meet again soon.. Chef Sergio’s food is a must try for those who hasn’t tried it yet.. I am gonna visit this restaurant soon… (only for lasagna and tiramisu)
I truly enjoyed the event. I was so happy to meet all the fellow food bloggers in Qatar. We all got goodie bag… Gifts from Four Seasons Doha, HDC Group, Eatopio …and also an Ahlan Magazine (I forgot to click the picture together)
And after this event , few of us had another meetup. I will be sharing about it in my next post..
