You can cook this fast…and it is very easy
You need,
1. Masoor dal(Yellow/Red Lentil) – 2 cup
2. Onion – 1 chopped
3. Green chilli – 2 sliced diagonally
4. Ginger – 2 tbsp chopped
5. Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
6. Oil – 1 tbsp
7. Corriander leaves – 1/2 cup chopped
8. cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
9. mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
You have to
1. Wash and cook Masoor dal with green chilli, turmeric, 3-4 cups of water (It take hardly 20 minutes)
2. At the same time in another stove, heat oil add cumin seeds
3. Once it crakle add mustard and allow to crakle
4. Now add onion and ginger and saute till onion starts turning pink
5. Add the dal which which cooked , salt and half portion of corriander leaves
6. Boil for 4-5 min in low flame and garnish with remaining corriander leaves
Serve with Chappthi or roti ๐
